Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats

Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats (Mason Jar Breakfast)

If you’re looking for a quick, filling breakfast that really keeps you satisfied all morning, these Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats are a game changer. They take mere minutes to prep, require only a handful of simple ingredients, and are perfect for busy mornings when you need something grab-and-go.

Even better? My husband absolutely loves these overnight oats. They’ve become one of his favorite make-ahead breakfasts because they taste like a chocolate treat but are packed with protein and nutrients.

With a little planning the night before, you’ll wake up to a creamy, chocolatey breakfast waiting in your fridge.

Ingredients

½ cup old fashioned oats

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

½ tablespoon chia seeds

½ cup milk (any kind)

¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (nonfat or regular)

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)

Mini chocolate chips, for topping

Method:

Mix the dry ingredients

In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the oats, chocolate protein powder, and chia seeds.

Pour in the milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup or honey (if using).

Shake or stir. Secure the lid and shake vigorously, or stir well with a fork or whisk until fully combined.

Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight, allowing the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

**If the oats seem too thick, add a splash of milk and stir. Top with mini chocolate chips (or your favorite toppings) and enjoy!

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Enjoy cold, or warm in the microwave for 30–60 seconds.

Topping Ideas:

Peanut butter or almond butter

Fresh berries

Banana slices

White chocolate chips

Nuts or granola

Shredded coconut

Extra drizzle of honey or maple syrup
